i was looking at going up to HID projectors, painting the shrouds and the rest of the housing black, and adding halos...as it happened i found austinjames' thread where he did exactly what i was thinking about -

tram - thought about plasti-dip, but it's hard to get out in HI :( my roommate was going to dip his R32 and found that out...he ordered the color he wanted and the shipment made it to the island before being sent back to FL, never received. guess it's considered hazmat. can get it through retailers, but they want you to buy a whole box of the stuff, and (home depot at least) won't let you mix/match colors :(
