Just basically confirmed what the OP stated only this time the dealer and state police's tunes are a little different.
The state police state they're reviewing to see what they can charge the service writer with.
The dealers son says that they're working with their insurance agency and "if everyone has some patience" they will make the OP whole (no expansion on that)
and that they fired the service writer.
One piece of info that I didn't see in the thread that was stated in the story is that the dealership flat out responded when asked by OP "how bad is it?" "we are NOT fixing this"
