This is why the stock assembly is so quiet. Quite a bit of weight and rubber dampening engineered in. I swear the stock knob weighs as much as the shifter rod and together they are fat!… Its going to make a nice addition to the display case.
I was able to take a decent road trip with the new Hurst Billit/Plus Shifter this weekend and get a better feel for it. There is a small amount of gear noise through all the gears at full throttle so those who are picky may want to go with the Dynomat to quite it down. Not a big deal for me yet but have to wait in see in the future. Other than the small amount of gear noise I love everything about the Hurst Billit/Plus Shifter; competition short throw, great feel, and KILLER looks.
