Dont be decieved by all the war stories, turbos, are good on all rpm with the right set up. They draw much less engine and use wasted energy to move them, and produce the most power. Again with the right kit, I recommend the IPS guys, you cant go wrong. I have them. I get 800 rwhp and that because I scared to drive this car as is. Too much power for the street. But it is always controlled by my foot. If you have gone wasting money on headers then stay sc as stated above. Unless you ant to scrap it all and start turbo. I driven both sc and turbo, and i love the turbos way more. Too each his own. Good luck
