The first mod I do to all of my GM vehicles is swap the battery. It will be the same with the camaro.
I'm interested to see how long the battery will last now that it's not subject to the heat from the engine compartment.

Sounds like a new TSB maybe? Glad to hear it was a minor problem that can be fixed easily.
