It barely avoided it in the Corvette, which is smaller, lighter & has taller gearing. Chances that the Z/28 will avoid it are slim to nil.

To get a new Z06 you are going to have to find a dealership with one sitting on the lot since they stopped building C6's at the beginning of the month.
