Domestic Violence
Today, I was working, and one of my clients needed my help. She is a victim of domestic violence. If I could not do my job tonight, she would have been forced to return to her violent home with her 3 young children.
In order to escape, she has been working 12-hour days. When she called my business, I was fortunate enough to be the one to talk to her.
I did my job to the best of my ability. It wasn't perfect, but I put something together for her. I gave the number to a shelter and said, "I don't ever want to hear that you were hurt. Please take care." She is free.
If you ever meet a victim of domestic violence, go out of your way to serve them. Women like my client are strong victims, and they deserve your help. Your help could save a life.
