They're okay for right now. once I replace the timing gears and chain i'll go from there.

Plugs/wires are ok? timing gears and chain- definitely bad? suspected bad?
Start with the simplest/cheapest fixes first. just to see if it will run- most likely needs all new timing chain/belt and gears anyway though. But firing on 3
only, sounds like 3 small problems (out of 6) instead of/ or in addition to the timing gears/chain.
