Hey guys, Im torn between these two setups! Im going to Ragin Racing (a reputable LSX tuner in Louisiana) and planning to drop about $4,500 on everything for my L99
SETUP 1 :
DYNO TUNE
AMERICAN RACING HEADERS LONGTUBE
COLD AIR INDUCTION (VARARAM OR LMR)
CORSA SPORT EXHAUST
NGK TR6 SPARK PLUGS
PORTTED THROTTLE BODY
160* THERMOSTAT
OIL/GASKET
INSTALL
or
SETUP 2:
DYNO TUNE
VIGILANTE 3200 STALL
COLD AIR INDUCTION (VARARAM OR LMR)
STAINLESS WORKS HEADERS/EXHAUST
NGK TR6 SPARK PLUGS
THERMOSTAT
OIL/GASKET
INSTALL
Im not sure which setup I want to do. Im def. going to track it; but for the most part, I want it to be a semi-reliable streetable car with a really nice and aggressive sound with a good amount of power.
Going to raging racing tomorrow about this (picking up my l99 on friday!
)
Any responses are appreciated
Thanks
Grant
extra notes:
I want the 3200 stall but I dont want to totally mess up the warranty and reliability of the car you know? I dont know that much about stalls and if anyone can eleborate on the pros and cons of a stall that would be cool. Im leaning more towards the first setup; or even possibly taking the first setup -corsa and +stall but i dont know if its streetable anymore then. but then again the 2nd setup is nice because the stainless works makes a nice sound (example on tagurit's car) but would it be to loud? gah.
