Car Law- i.e. tire size, exhaust noise

First off, I know this varies from state to state.

But, does anyone (cops on the site)(Tag) know about specific laws regarding things like exhaust noise, exhaust exit placement, tire size, truck lifts, ect.

I know Texas has some pretty big trucks, Michigan State Troopers love to mess with 4x4s, But I seen a monster of an F-350 in South Padre, we're talking huge think they were bigger than 44 inch tires. (I actually have a pic, will post below)

But my exact question is
-how loud can a car be, in decibals I assume, before you can be ticketed. My truck is around 104 db and have been warned for loud exhaust, even though I have two mufflers and full exhaust.
-AND do the exhaust tips have to exit the vehicle behind the rear axel. I am sure that is a Michigan law.

I love the nascar exhaust on the chop pic this SS Camaro, but is it legal

Thanks
