That would have been my third guess. I have water accumulate in the inner barrels of my Forgeline wheels when it rains and it makes them go out of balance. They make a thing called a water diverter that mounts to the inner barrel that pushes the water out to prevent that. It would be pretty severe if that water froze when the car was parked. 3 or 4 ounces of ice would make a big shimmy.
