Wow so this thread was necroed so barberdude could sell some amsoil? I think this site should put some thought into who they let sell what here.

If it still matters half a year later, super tech and super tech synthetic only meet GM's standard oil specs, not their high performance, so I would steer clear of using it in your SS. Its probably not a bad oil, I've heard lots of good things, just probably can't hold up to the extra heat GM requires for the hi-po spec.
