I have been going over the plans to attend the 34th rod run at Colonial Beach. it is an hour from either direction, Accokeek, Prince Frederick or Lexington Park. We are all about the same distance. I suggest that we just meet up at different points and drive in together each day. The closest and cleanest hotels are in Dahlgren which is only about 8 mins away. Since it is just an hour ride I am not staying at a hotel overnight but would like to get there early. I called the coordinator of the event and they said there has been newer cars not just older ones. She was very nice and seemed welcoming. I think those from Calvert should meet at Cheeseburger at 7:30am with the St Mary's Crew and we can meet the Charles County/PG County crew at 8:00am just before the bridge. This will put us at the show just after opening, (starts at 8:00am) Please posts thoughts. I will be sending an email with the flyer to fill out and return with the $15.00 registration fee.
