How about noise? I heard these pads are noisy over the standard pad. Is this true? From descriptions of the Hawk pad's stopping capabilities: HPS is "a bit better" and their ceramics "almost as well" as stock. This doesn't sound like the price difference is worth it. I regularly wash my car, so I'm not worried about dust. Am I missing something as far as the benefit of these aftermarket brake pads?
