Better still - learn something called 'throttle modulation' as done by you the driver. Ultimately, TC on is going to teach you to be a "stomp & steer" kind of driver (not a compliment, BTW) . . . because it lets you get away with more right foot than you should be trying to use, and you won't be relating any amount of foot movement as being "about here is where too much starts".

That skinny pedal on the right really does have more than just two positions (closed and WOT). Learn how to use all the positions in between without using too much, all by yourself. Who knows - your dragstrip performance might just benefit from you better knowing where the limit is.
