first I would offer it it up for trade. there are poeple who got carbon hoods that did not want it. offer your up gray or painted to match what ever color they want. some people wanted flat black and got carbon.

second I would look to carbon fiber vendor to see if they think ithe paint could be stripped and the carbon exposed.

the oem piece is expensive and I think those are your best option $$$ wise.
