I changed out the original bushings in my Hurst shifter today for the ones made by NH-SS. The shifter had over an inch of side play in it when in gear. Now it has about 1/8th inch of play.
The shifter feels so much better now. I wish I had done this sooner. Here's a link to the thread where I found them.
