It's easy to import or export between Canada and USA. Emissions on new trucks are the same so thats a non issue. GM trucks are made in North America so no duty. You will very likely have to pay local tax. Contact a broker or Custom border and protection services and they will steer you in the right direction to get the proper documents. I know GM recently has been good about providing the paper work stating that it complies to US standards. The process can take some time.
As an example you could have my 2015 GM 1500 Denali with 8500 miles for $40,000us.
