High Wing Spoiler issue...
This morning, a friend ask me what was wrong with my car. My response was, "nothing better be wrong with my car"!! lol
I walked around the car and seen that the brake light lens was hanging down on one side. I looked at it closely and it is held underneath the spoiler by two screws. One screw appears to have been torqued to tightly during the install and it cracked the lens. After driving and hitting bumps, it broke loose.
I drove her to the dealer and they told me that they had the same problem with another Camaro this morning.
They do not carry the lens as seperate part number. The only way to repair it is to remove the entire Spoiler and replace it. Damn!!!
It is covered under warranty and they put it on order.
If you have a High Wing Spoiler, keep an eye on it. This seems to be a problem area.
