The Woodward Dream Cruise is the largest one day automotive event in the world. That said - although it falls on the 3rd Saturday of the month, it the heavy cruising on Woodward Avenue "starts" August 1st. The week of the Dream Cruise is a great time to go to Woodward and check out all the cars while the road still flows and is moving. Saturday, the day of the Dream Cruise, by 10am it's a parking lot and will take hours to go from one end to the other end. Saturday is a good day to find a parking spot to show your car off or to park somewhere and then walk up and down Woodward checking out all the cars parked along the road and the OEM displays are pretty popular too.
