Mods in sig. L99 never had intake or rocker covers off. Without meth I ran 12 psi for a season, no issues. Sprayed a 125 shot pulling 3 degrees a few times, datalogs look perfect. Right before winter I went up to 13 psi. Plugs were Denso IT-22's but I'm now going another step colder to Denso IT-24's to be safe.
Over winter I dropped pulley size to what should be 14 psi and installed a small to medium sized shot of 70/30 meth/water pre blower. Since the compression is a little lower and the cam is smaller on an L99 than an LS3 I'm thinking the L99 with small meth shot should be about as safe as an LS3 at 12 or so psi and a little bigger meth shot. Time will tell if I'm right I guess!
Have never Dyno'd or been to track in this car. I plan on track visit or 2 this spring.
