50% is pretty light, but it's better than nothing. In Ohio it looks like you can put whatever you want on the back window. If you do 50% on the sides and 20% or even 5% on the back window it will help make the sides look darker by reducing the light in the interior. If you have black or dark interior it will also help it to look darker.
