As mentioned above normally you can split the driveshaft and use the 8-cyl rear portion. If anyone has a 6-cyl car with the 8-cyl rear be good to get a measurement on it. It might just be the same length, but remember with the slip joints of the stock driveshaft, it may be the improper length when you do the 6 to 8 swap, but the slip joints are taking up the slack in or out...
