lee you can use either one at either time. Just depends on the sound you want.
I'm glad I saw this thread harmonicator. I had the resonated one in my cart and at the very last minute I switched it out for true xpipe because I had this feeling I was gonna think it was too quiet after install. You reconfirmed my suspicion. Can't wait to get the true installed now.!
