Bought my new 2012 SS about a month ago. Automatic, bone stock other than the fuse pull ( which, by the way, ****ing rocks
).
My previous muscle car was a 98 WS6 which I bought at 17 and sold when I was 26. Heads/cam, Yank 3600 stall, intake, TB, LT headers/x pipe/bullet mufflers and dumped before the rear axle. Made 401 RWHP, corrected (after tuning).
All that being said, I ran these mufflers on it for the last 3,xxx miles that I owned it. I HATED having to sell it, but real life needs outweighed nostalgia for me. But now it's a different story!
I'm going to have these installed next weekend, along with a resonator delete/x pipe install. Stock headers and cats for at least another 6 months. I can't find ANY videos or documentation on any forums that include these mufflers with the 5th gen Camaro. Any personal experiences here? It sounded sick on my WS6, but the new transplant isn't cammed, and has stock headers. Thanks for any advice you're able to give.
