COT Needs to be able to drop the AFR to 9.8:1 to cool the Cats, IF there is enough injector and fuel pump to support that much fuel demand.

In order to have 11.5:1 AFR For an entire Quarter mile or longer COT would have to be turned off or have a MAXED out the fuel supply with it On were it can't reach COT Fuel demands.

So the only way it is the Tune and everything else is Right, is IF COT is turned off.

We never turn it off with Cats in place.

Why are the cats getting so Hot?

2 reasons, they are too small for Supercharged Apps and the fuel supply is not capable of supporting COT Fueling.

Ted.
I had clogged cat, replaced with off-road section for the time being. How imperative is it to get a re-tune? Should I limp it around until my speed shop is able to squeeze me in?
