I did the opposite, sold my '68 ProTour car And got a new Camaro.
Also have an all original 69. There's something to be said for both of the cars, they each have something special. I like the sound when you crack the old Quadrajet open.
BTW - the 68 had a new GMPP LS3 480hp, 6sp, and 14" Wilwoods. The new Z reminds me a lot of that car, raw.
Old cars are not nessesarily money pits if you do the work yourself.
