I agree that Las Vegas or Phoenix would be good choices. I have driven to the East Coast twice for the MTI Funfest in Alabama last year, and the C5Fest in Georgia this year.
I live in west Texas and the East Coast is a very long drive, for everyone on the West Coast. It would only be right to allow the West Coasters the opportunity to have fun as well.
