Saturday started out great. We went out for a drive, had dinner and headed home. I drove at first, then my husband drove home after dinner.
While he was driving he noticed something was wrong. We pulled over & the car wouldn't move : o(. Engine running & in drive... but no forward motion. This is NOT GOOD!!! I'm glad we were only 15 mins. from home.
He looked under the car while I had my foot on the break (e-break off) & in drive ~ the right rear axle was just spinning. My husband thought it was either the cv joint, axle splines or the hub.
We put it in our trailer & took it to the dealership on Sunday AM.
The dealer called to day & said that the splines on the rear outer hub is stripped. Getting new hub & axle hopefully tomorrow. I was told I should have my car back tomorrow night.
I receive great service from my dealership. I really appreciate the guys who help me.
