If that were the case why not extend it to saving GMC as a whole? (EDIT: My 'Decade' quip meant the biggest design/product decision between 2000-2010.. and if that were the case THE BIGGEST FOULUP WOULD BE KILLING THE F-BODY IN '02!!!?!?1

My whole argument was that they should have killed GMC, dumped the whole house into Chevrolet and gone worldwide with the Chevrolet Brand as a truck brand to compete with Toyota..
Tall order yes, but think about what would be possible if Chevrolet launched an uptrim level of the Traverse, Equinox, and Silverado to supplant the Denali and compete with the King Ranch and Big Horn? The need for GMC would be nonexistant at that point.
Other side of the coin would be to kill the Silverado, Nox, and Traverse and leave all trucks to GMC and launch it as a global brand.
