When you swap into a SS rear end to change the gear ratio, you want to change at least to the to the 3:45, otherwise you won't feel much difference. The standard ratios on the SS are 3.27' 3.45, and 3.91. 3.91 will give you the greatest improvement in acceleration and mechanical torque improvement and lowering your et's in all areas. It will also lower your gas mileage.
