Just because a Camaro has a SS hood, SS spoiler, and the "17 SS rims doesn't mean it is a true SS. I've seen two v6 Camaro's with the SS hood, SS spoiler and one had the 5 spoke "17 SS rims, while the other one had the 10 spoke "17 rims. God only knows why they would do such a thing to a v6 Camaro.
Why not just buy an actual SS.
I would, like already mentioned, run the VIN number to verify its true identity.
