Actually, if you look at the numbers month by month, the gap between Mustang sales and Camaro sales is actually closing despite the 2011 Mustang being right around the corner for Ford.
GM sold only 624 more Camaros than Ford did Mustangs in January. Compare that to the gap back in October (3293 cars).
