Well, my first question would be do you have the famous rotten egg smell? Your cats are supposed to clean this out so you don't smell it. So if you have cats with your LT and you can still smell the rotten egg smell then I would be guessing that you would have a leak.

As far as AFR, from my understanding LT won't affect your AFR, but a cai would. I'm not a 100% on this, but thats what I've read on the forum. Good luck.
