At around hour 16 we lost 5 gear. We went behind the wall, removed the gearbox, rebuilt it and reinstall.....in about 45 min. Back on the track 28 laps down and managed to fight their way back to a 4 place finish. The Drives and Crew did a excellent job.

OK, now you got my eyes open this morning. I would like to see more of the cause and affect report with that rebuild on the gearbox, please?
Was it stock? - Why 5th Gear? - Significance?
