What if your saleman is off the 29th? What if he works the late shift? What if someone walks in and goes to a different saleman??
When the dealership opens on the 29th ANY salesman can enter an order in at your dealer. Does every salesman at the dealership know about "the list"???

My dealership started a list, took my deposite and said your the first.
They would not take my deposite untill they had the official word from GM
that the car was going to be produced etc. In fact they stopped taking
anymore names on the list due to the fear that the allocation would not
be enough to satisfy the requests, and asked those individuals to please
check back early 2012.
Could things go amiss, yup you betcha, but a dealers reputation if thier
in it for the long run is the most important thing they sell. At least that's
the way I look at it in my business. Which I have been running for 37 years now.
