It's like wearing a shirt 3x too big. There is not a lot of harm in doing it..but it is still not the right size. It is funny how the mood of a forum dictates what header sizes people choose. Every LSx forum we are on..1 3/4" is standard, and 1 7/8" is for like people with heavy mods. 2" headers you must have an 800 HP dragaster. Here, no one has 1 3/4"..1 7/8" is standard..and you have a cam..everyone is like "Ohh you need 2" headers".
