Ryan has said on here that you can run his SS2 VVT cam with a stock stall. If you're racing, you'll want a stall but it's not needed. If you are planning a stall, go for his SS3 VVT cam and make 100+whp more. I think Ryan was around 480whp when he was running his SS3 cam. More importantly, he was running 10's with it. That's stock bottom and heads with zero suspension mods.
If you are drag racing, you'll appreciate having the L99 more. In addition to better consistency, you get to save a LOT of $$ on suspension mods. If you have any doubts, go look at the 1/4 fast list. Once you start modding, the automatics DOMINATE the top spots.[/QUOTE
