Not from what I have been told. It's unique to the Camaro. Also I am told that it is not the same as the G8. I find that hard to believe. I was told by persons in the aftermarket (differential and also gear) that with the current economy it isn't the right time to spend a bunch of money on developing new parts.

Also they say they want to see some decent production and sales before they make the commitment.

It's a whole new world out there. In the past the parts would be available within a year. Now it may take longer.

I know of several vendors who are developing solid axle conversions. It will solve the gear and brake problem. The brakes are too large to clear most drag wheels that run slicks.
