IMHO, on these engines, a ported stocker goes A LOONNNGG way. I wouldn't even consider a FAST intake, unless I had at least a > stock displacement engine. And even at that level, it would have to depend on the setup. But for stock bottom end with heads/cam/fi/nitrous... I'd stick to a ported ls3 intake any day of the week.
