Like everyone else said - properly maintained you'll be fine. A few things to keep in mind though.
-Change your oil more often, ~3,500 mi
-Shell out the extra cash for a reputable tuner
-Specifically tell your tuner this is your daily driver. You want a safe, reliable tune, don't go chasing numbers on the dyno.
-Don't tune for 93 if you can't get it everywhere around you.
-Learn to monitor any gauges you may have. Oil pressure, EGT, wideband O2, boost, etc. all can indicate a problem before it becomes catastrophic. A cracked ringland or blown ring alone is better than spun bearings and bent valves along with them.
Most importantly, if you can't afford to rebuild, don't do it. Some will tell you that you won't have a problem, but you MIGHT be that unlucky soul. The chances aren't high, but you don't want to end up with a blown motor and no warranty, so make sure you will be financially able to rebuild just in case you have to.
