Not necessary. Depending on how you set up the system and the type of fluid you spray. Many will use water methanol injection as an added safety net. They will add it on top of a already safe tune and not tune for it.
Others on the other hand will tune for it and use it as a tool to push beyond the limits of the gas they are running.
