Last, but not least, it's now been over a month since I applied the tire coat. As you can see, I also got new rims since then. The stock tires were dismounted from the steel heritage rims and mounted onto these aftermarket rims. IMHO, that's a really good test of this product because of the handling that it goes through to be dismounted and mounted. You can see a "line" where the tool was pushed into the rubber. I've been trying to let it go as long as possible without reapplying any more product, but I'm confident that when I do break down and respray the tire coat onto my tires to enhance the shine that the lines will go away.
So this is after one full month, the dismount and remount onto new tires, and over 1,000 miles. My car is a daily driver - in that time, it has seen torrential downpours, it sits outside every night, and has even driven through freeways that were flooded about a foot high.
The product has been through quite the endurance test and IMHO it still looks pretty damn good! It's definitely lost it's "wet look" but what I love about it is that the tires still look nice and matte black. I'll also add that I only wipe the tires down once with a wash mitt after being mounted onto the new rims -- discount tire had globbed a bunch of paste crap all over the bead of the tires and it looked horrendous. That was back before 4th of July weekend, so the pictures below are a few weeks worth without any washing or wiping the tires.
