Another thing you can do (and I'm serious here) is watch people's houses when they go on vacation. I did that for my neighbor. Just look after the house, water some plants, pet/play with the cat, make sure the basement isn't flooded, and here's 50 bucks.
Other than that, it's really hard to get a formal job at 13...believe me, I tried. I was never able to get an actual job until 16.

I could detail neighborhood cars. Getting to my house would be a problem. I can drive. I know how but legally I can not.
