Depends on the application, the set up and how it is being used.

There is a huge misconception of What plug Heat Range is for.

If you running the Daytona 500 you need a lower heat range plug.

If your driving in traffic you need a Higher heat range Plug.

Stock Plugs are in the Middle

Heat range is for the ability for the spark plug to keep itself clean and has nothing to do with Horsepower.

We have a 1000 RWHP Street car with ZR1 Plugs after 500 miles they look like they came out of the box in both cleanliness and strap color.

Same goes for our 800 RWHP Street car with Factory LS3 Plugs.
