most of these companies are saying they require a tune, just to cover their own a$$ when trying to prove their advertised power gains.
replacing the intake should not have to require a tune, heck running around with no filter wouldn't really require a tune!

This isn't the case with the CF version of the Halltech. Jim purposefully made the MAF area larger to get more HP gains from it. It was marketed at a tune only MAF from the beginning, unlike the regular Yellowjacket that doesn't need a tune. It will most definitely throw lean codes until you tune for it.
