I don't understand the reason for a tender. All I've ever done with my antique cars over the years Is disconnect the battery when I store it. In the Spring I recharge the battery and I'm good to go. Never a problem and my batteries last for years. To me, A battery tender is just something else to promote & sell. IMO of course.
