Wow. I guess I'm glad I've got low-tech lifetime guarantee koni's. I did have 1 go bad, koni replaced it and so did Big-O (at no charge even though it may not have been their problem). But it does look like the instructions for the pedders kits are a bit more involved than your average strut replacement... along with the warnings right on their sell page.
That said my general rule of thumb has been that anything that involves electrical/tuning, including just moving it to get to something else is when I take mine to a model specific performance shop. But what do I know, I drive a
mustang.
