8 months and 10 days and my SS is finally at my dealer. My dealer is pretty awesome though. I was trying to make plans to fly home home this weekend. I'm working in Wyoming till October. My plan was to go home, get the car and go put my new ARH headers on, and return to Wyoming after a one day break in plan.
The headers have not shipped, but i made the plans to fly home and get the car anyway, I've waited long enough. Now the headers will get shipped to Wyoming and i'll put them on here.
What makes my dealer special is this, The transport (trucking) company could not guaranty that the car could be delivered by even Saturday so they called them back after i told them to beg. Finally, after saying they could not let the dealer come up and pick up the car, (my dealer is 30 miles from the railyard in Portland) they changed their minds and let it happen. My dealer took a trailer and picked up my car today so it would be ready for me Thursday. My GF is picking me up at PDX with the trade in and we are going straight to my Camaro. Finance is already taken care of. Just a couple signatures and I own a new 2SS Camaro.
When my car went to QC and seemed to stay there, I said, on this forum, I wouldn't use the bowtie smiley again until I had my Camaro, I guess a couple days early won't hurt anything.
