I went to the local "cruise in" where there was about 200 cars and 350++ people at the local Sonic. When I arrived (first time ever for me to go), the organizer yelled to me, "Hey... Over here, Over here".... he wanted my car in the prime spot near the entry so everyone could see it. He said they had been trying to find a dealer with a ZL1 on hand to bring it to show, but came up empty! He couldn't believe one had just driven in and was extremely grateful. We had the portable chairs in the trunk! We stayed from 5 - 8 pm. The car was surrounded all night long with people of every age, gender, race, and income. I now know what Scott feels like! I was glad I could be there to "share" in the creation of this piece of history. My wife and I met a lot of friendly people and the attention to the car affirmed to me that GM has created a historical marker of originality and distinction.
